How to Get Your CSCS Green Card
To hold a Green CSCS Labourer Card, you must complete the CITB Health and Safety Awareness Training Course.
Completing the CITB Health and Safety Awareness Training Course includes passing the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test.
This is also sometimes referred to as a CSCS test.
The CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test is part of the larger CITB Health and Safety Awareness Training Course.
At the end of the course, you’ll need to pass a multiple-choice question exam.
The CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test is made up of 50 questions, which cover five core knowledge areas.
Those include:
* Legal and management
* Health and welfare
* General safety
* High-risk activities
* The environment
3 Steps to get a CSCS Green Labour card
✅Step 1 – Complete this course for your Level-1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction environment
✅Step 2 – Pass the CITB Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) Operatives exam which is booked separately
✅Step 3 – Once you have passed both the course and exam, you can then apply for your CSCS Green Labour card. Please note, the CITB Health, Safety & Environment exam and cost for the CSCS Green Card application fee is not included in the course price
Assessment for CSCS green card
Learners pass the qualification by completing an online or paper-based exam.
It consists of 40 multiple-choice questions based on the learning completed.
Candidates have one hour to complete the exam and must answer at least 26 questions correctly to pass.
CERTIFICATION
Successful candidates will receive a Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment certificate from an awarding body within England and Wales who are currently recognised by Ofqual and Department for Education and Skills.
